Welcome to The Dock bar and restaurant

Located in Court St, just a stones throw from the "Courthouse" the dock derives its name by its association with the word "court" - the dock houses the accused in the courtroom. The restaurant building(dating back to the 1890's) once housed a doctors surgery - adding further meaning to the chosen name "the dock". The venue has been tastefully restored, highlighting its period features which along with an open fire place combine to create the perfect ambience and atmosphere. The addition of an alfresco courtyard area offers a relaxed and casual environment which adds to the versatility of the venue.

Our aim is to provide the best in food, the best in beverage and the best in service to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. Our modern Australian menu consists of fresh local ingredients meticulously prepared into innovative dishes which you are sure to enjoy. We have an extensive range of wines available featuring regional favourites as well as labels from the broader wine growing areas. For a more relaxed experience our recently installed wood fired oven puts the finishing touches to a range of gourmet wood-fired pizzas. This is a great option when catching up with friends over a few drinks.
